Jim Nachtigal, CEO, BS
Jim graduated from the
University of Nebraska
with a BS
in Business Education,
and then
went on to fulfill four
years in the
United States Marine Corps. Jim
spent three and one half years
as an Assistant Manger for
Wal-Mart before moving into Care
Home Administration. Jim served
other Kansas and Missouri care
homes as Administrator in the
eight years prior to joining the
KCH team. Jim is proud of the
changing business culture to
make the home more home-like, give residents choices and empower our staff to be more
responsive to the needs of our
residents. Jim is married to
Paige and the father of two
daughters and twin sons. Jim and
his family attend Grace
Community Church. Jim is a
member of the KCH Quality SHARPS
team.

Denny Bell, BA, MM,
Chaplain
Laura D. “Denny” Bell was born into a ministerial family
where both father and
mother are clergy. She has felt the “call” of God since she
was little. Denny is the wife of Gary, minister of the First
Christian Church of Newton for 37 years. Denny received a BA
Bachelor of Arts from East Central University in Ada,
Oklahoma and a Masters of Music degree from Oklahoma City
University specializing in vocal performance with a minor in
classical guitar. She is recognized as a minister in good
standing with the Christian Church of Disciples of Christ in
Kansas on the track of obtaining her Master of Divinity
degree at Phillips Theological Seminary in the spring of
2010. Denny has also taken Clinical Pastoral Education
classes. She is a fourth generation Disciples of Christ.
Denny was originally called to the chaplaincy August 1, 2004
while KCH was under the auspices of NBA. The KCH board
re-called her to the chaplaincy on September 1, 2005. |

Erin
Boehner, Director Sales & Marketing
Erin Boehner attended Kansas State University for
four
years where she majored in Public Relations and minored in
Speech and Communication. She also took courses in business
at Butler County Community College. Prior to joining the
staff at Kansas Christian Home, Erin had 6 years experience
in Customer Service and 3 years working as a Sales
Representative. She and her husband Eric moved to Wichita in
2005 when she took the position as Director of Sales and
Marketing. Erin has been involved in outreach programs as a
volunteer and a coordinator such as Habitat for Humanity,
Salina Food Bank, Ronald McDonald House, Salvation Army, and
her local church. Her position at Kansas Christian Home has
allowed Erin to combine her natural abilities with people
and her passion for outreach. |

Stephanie Bradshaw, Director of Nursing
Stephanie began her career here at KCH in 2005, after a
family move brought
her to the Newton/Wichita area. Stephanie has been a
Registered Nurse for twenty years and enjoys all aspects of
the nursing field. Having grown up in Wichita, Stephanie was
pleased for the opportunity to be back among family.
Stephanie still owns her family farm in Jetmore, Kansas. She
cites her most rewarding experiences as working in long term
care. Working in long term care has taught Stephanie
humility, understanding and a sense of caring that goes
beyond just nursing care. Stephanie is married to Ralph and
has one son. Stephanie is a member of the KCH Quality
“SHARPS” team. |

Beth
Green, Business Office Manager
Beth has worked in the Business Office for 2 years after
careers in banking
and retail management. Beth manages accounts
receivables/payable; payroll; Human Resources and the
financial end of the KCH business. Beth does a variety of
volunteer activities around KCH such as providing music for
the worship services and other functions and providing
transportation for residents outside of daily business
hours. Beth is also involved in the community through her
church, volunteering at the Homeless Shelter, as a board
member of the Salvation Army of Newton and involvement in
the Newton Chamber. Beth is married to Gene and they are
parents of four children and have 4 grandchildren. Beth
strongly believes her involvement at KCH from both a work
and volunteer aspect is a ministry for which life
experiences have prepared her. |

Connie
Hiebert, Campus Services Director/LPN
Connie has been with KCH for over 15 years and is a well
respected
Management team member serving the residents with Home
Health and as the Director of Campus/ Independent Living
services. Connie began working at Kansas Christian Home in
1989 as a CMA, and became an LPN in 1990. She worked as
night supervisor; then moved to day shift. When the position
opened up for a campus nurse/coordinator four years ago,
Connie was the perfect fit for the job. In this position
Connie oversees the health needs for those who live on the
campus, and coordinate activities for them including trips
away from KCH. |

Linda
Hill, Director of Development
Linda has been in fund raising on a professional basis since
2000. She was
called to Kansas Christian Home in May of 2008. Before that
she volunteered for her church as Stewardship Chairman and
Financial Secretary for several years. Linda completed the
Certificate of Fundraising Management at the School of
Philanthropy during her tenure with the Oklahoma Disciples
Foundation. She has also attended college in Texas, Oklahoma
and Colorado. Linda has two children and one granddaughter.
She enjoys traveling, books and music. Her favorite
activity, however, is spending time with her granddaughter. |

David
Howser, Director of Facilities Management
David began at KCH in December 2008. He came
to
us after working at Memorial Hospital in McPherson for 22
years as the Director of Plant Operations. He brings a
wealth of experience in telecommunications, hazardous waste
management, life safety and regulatory and compliance
requirements. He and his wife still live in McPherson where
she is a RN at Memorial. They have two teenage daughters.
David says living in a 125 year old Victorian home keeps him
busy in his off hours. |

Nancy
Kasper, AA, Lifestyle Director/Social Service Designee
Nancy has been with KCH over 20 years. She received her
Associate degree
in Fine Art at Butler County Community College and attended
Wichita State University 2 ˝ years. Nancy is able to
incorporate both her love for the elderly and art into one
job. Nancy began working with both elderly and young people
with physical limitations in August of 1979 as a CNA. She
received her state certification as a CRA (certified
restorative aide) and then joined Kansas Christian Home in
December 1988. She is now a certified Activity Director and
Social Service Designee. Nancy states, “It is the sense of
home and family of Kansas Christian Home that sets it apart
from other facilities.” Nancy and her husband Randy, who is
also a long-time KCH employee, have four grown children. |

NORMA
STOLTZFUS, Supervisor of Housekeeping & Laundry Supervisor
Norma was born in Puerto Rico and moved to
Kansas in 1976. Norma spent 4 years in college in Puerto
Rico and became a teacher for 9 years before coming to the
United States. Norma has been working at KCH since 1976.
Norma’s two younger brothers, Noel and Gadiel Espada work
here at KCH in the Facilities and Maintenance department.
Norma says she really enjoys the work and loves our
residents. She feels like we are a part of a big family
here. Norma is a member of Whitestone Mennonite of Hesston,
Kansas. |

Heather Williams, Director of Dining Services, CDM, CFPP,
ServSafe
Heather’s background in food service stems from growing up
in a family
owned and operated restaurant, and her education in
geriatrics began on the nursing side working the floor first
as a CNA. Heather studied nutrition in college leading to a
Dietary Managers Course for nutrition and sanitation. She
has worked in her field seven years. Heather hopes to
further her career in Dietetics. Heather is married to Chad;
they are the parents of two sons and one daughter. She was
recruited to KCH in 2005. Heather is a member of the KCH
Quality “SHARPS” team. |

Missy
Wonders, Social Worker
Missy has six years experience in Social Work in long term
care for elders and
was certified as a CNA. Missy’s field of study is Sociology
and Social Science Community Service and Psychology. Missy
holds hold a Social Service Designee (SSD) which was
licensed through Butler County Community College in 2001.
Ms. Wonders attended Tabor College from 1996-2000. Missy is
married to Brian and has a little girl. Missy felt led to
work in the social sciences in a humanitarian field and
really enjoys working with geriatrics. Missy attends
Ebenfeld Mennonite Church of Hillsboro. |
