Development
You
may choose to support Kansas Christian Home —and at
whatever level – your generosity is truly appreciated.
At KCH, many of the population served are retired
clergy, families of clergy, missionaries and members of
our church body. We are proud of these elders who have
given so much of themselves to the church and community
throughout their lives. Know that we welcome all in
need of care.
The Office of Development is dedicated to understanding and helping provide for the needs of this resident population. A primary Development goal is to establish key working relationships with the community and Christian congregations of Kansas. The Office of Development is happy to offer presentations, speaking engagements and pulpit fill for busy congregations. KCH is supported in many ways-through your unrestricted Annual Giving; capital gifts and Planned Giving. Please contact the Office of Development to discuss your questions or desired level of support or to receive a copy of the State of Kansas approved 501 c (3), as documentation of not-for-profit status. If your group would like to arrange a campus tour and lunch date in Dining Services, or hear missionaries or clergy speak on their careers in church service, please call the Development Office. Development enjoys sharing a historical and informational presentation with your organization, congregation or civic group. Nearly forty minutes of Kansas Christian Church history (1855-1955), recognition of the Kansas Farmer, and KCH campus and home life. This musical entertainment includes group singing and western background music featuring beautiful color scenes representative of Kansas. Special Music guests may be arranged. Kansas Christian Home
Auxiliary The Kansas Christian Home Auxiliary was formed in 1987 by a charter group of nine residents and community leaders. The need for the auxiliary was recognized with the closing of Axtel Hospital. The Axtel Hospital was a Christian Church Hospital and their close ties to KCH brought about the new Organizational charter. Since its founding in 1987, nine (9) Presidents have served through 2005 with several serving terms twice. Throughout the auxiliary history, the auxiliary has raised over $100,000 toward the KCH Auxiliary mission. |
